OUR PROMISE
Witham’s Coffee has been passionately supplying cafes and restaurants with the finest, freshest Arabica coffee for 15 years. We are dedicated to ensuring our wholesale customers receive the highest quality product, together with excellence in customer service. Our promise is to only “roast-to-order”, so that our customers receive enticingly fresh coffee, on a weekly basis. We strive to provide our customers with a wide variety of high quality products to complement their coffee; such as select loose leaf teas and herbal infusions, decadent drinking chocolate, chai powders, raw sugar sticks and much more.
Our Coffee
At Witham’s we source high grade Arabica coffees from most coffee growing regions in the world. Witham’s stocks one of the widest ranges of single origin coffees, including coffee’s from Central and South America, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Kenya, India, Tanzania and Mexico. Before making it to our list, all coffees are sample roasted and cupped in-house to ensure its quality of flavour, body and acidity. Each single origin coffee has quite unique characteristics that are derived from differing soil types, climate, altitude and processing techniques.
Witham’s also sources a range of Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance accredited coffees. These coffees are sourced from farms where workers are paid a fair price for their product and where sustainable farming practices are employed. Included in our range are Swiss Water Process Decaffeinated coffees. These high grade Arabica coffees have been decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which is 100% chemical free. OUR BLENDS
Using our select range of single origin beans, our Master Blender will combine certain coffees for their individual characteristics to produce a particular flavour profile. For example, a perfect morning coffee might contain a snappy, bright New Guinea or Costa Rican bean, blended with a Colombian to smooth it out; or a fuller bodied after-dinner coffee would be more likely to include a rich, heavy bodied Sumatran.
Witham’s have six blends to choose from, including the award winning Super Mocha, which is our most popular. A custom-made blend may be created for those café or restaurant owners who have a particular flavour profile in mind.
Our Packaging
Witham’s coffee is roasted, hand-sorted for quality assurance and then directly packed into high-quality packaging with a one-way valve. Once coffee is roasted it begins to de-gas, that is CO2 is released from the bean. The one-way valve allows this gas to escape, without letting in outside air or moisture, which is detrimental to the freshness of the coffee.
Expert Advice and Support
Our knowledgeable staff is available on a daily basis to assist customers with product information and machine and grinder technical problems.
Barista training is available as a free service to our café customers. Our experienced trainer will come to your café and train your staff in the basics of barista skills. We are passionate that our customers are serving the finest quality coffee, and the skill of the barista is an essential part of the process.
